NOTICE TO BIDDERS

ADVERTISEMENT Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Union City for 2017 – 2018 SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES for all streets, city wide, and various City parking facilities. Bids will be opened and read in public at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Union City, City Hall, 3715 Palisade Avenue, Union City, New Jersey 07087 on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM prevailing time.  The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary and/or required to provide snow plowing, snow removal, snow hauling and snow disposal services for a period between November 22, 2017 to April 15, 2018.  Specifications and forms of bid for the proposed work may be obtained by prospective bidders during regular business hours beginning Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the office of the City Clerk.  Bids must be made on the standard Proposal Form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the City of Union City, City Hall, 3715 Palisade Avenue, Union City, New Jersey 07087.  The signed Proposal forms must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award.  Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or part, or to make multiple awards and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
