Library Director

LIBRARY DIRECTOR – Union City Public Library: The individual will manage and direct the operations of a free public library which  includes the overseeing of library program planning and directing; assisting in the development and planning of the library budget and funding along with controlling library expenditures; will be responsible for the hiring of personnel (both professional and non-professional); overseeing library personnel by supervising their work, work schedules, etc; other related duties as required. The position requires a Master’s degree in Library or Informational Science in a library program accredited by the American Library Association or from a New Jersey college Master’s program in Library Science acceptable by Thomas Edison State College.
