Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners invite Union City families to celebrate Halloween at the Union City Children’s Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The festival will take place on 15th Street, between Bergenline Avenue and New York Avenue, and will feature free rides, candy, and activities for children. Admission is free.

Families are encouraged to join the community for an evening of Halloween fun while keeping safety in mind. Parents and caregivers should make sure costumes fit properly, do not obstruct children’s vision, and include reflective materials when possible. Children should carry a flashlight or other light source, and younger children should be accompanied by an adult or responsible older child.
