NOTICE TO BIDDERS – GRANT WRITING SERVICES

NOTICE IS HERE BY GIVEN, that The City of Union City is requesting bids from individuals and/or firms for the following services:

Grant Writing Services (“Services”).

The City seeks bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.).

Bid packages/specifications for such services are now on file the office of the City Clerk, where same may be obtained during office hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or on City’s website  www.ucnj.com.

Bids for such Services will be received by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Union City, County of Hudson, State of New Jersey on December 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. prevailing time in the City Clerk's Office, second floor, 3715 Palisade Avenue, Union City, New Jersey, 07087 at which time and place the bids will be opened for such Services, in accordance with the bid packages/specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk.

All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the City Clerk of the City of Union City, the envelope shall have marked conspicuously on its face on the top right-hand side in letters not less than one inch the word “Bids” followed immediately below those words in letters not less than one half inch high: “for Grant Writing Services for the City of Union City” and underneath that “To be received on the December 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.” Bids will not be accepted by facsimile transmission or e-mail.
 
The City intends to award any contract for these services pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et seq,
 
If bids are to be accepted by mail or courier, the bids must be placed in an outer envelope, which on the top right-hand side shall clearly designate in the same manner as set forth above, the same size and information. The inner envelope shall have specifically placed in the center the same information as set forth above and on the bottom left-hand side the name and address of the Respondent.
 
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information and bids. Successful proposers are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
