Notice is hereby given that the City of Union City is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq for Municipal Court Judge vacancy with a term ending December 31, 2026.

An original and one copy of the respondent’s sealed statement of qualifications should be sent to and received by the City Clerk, Hilda I. Rosario, by 10:15 a.m., on August 5,  2026 at 3715 Palisade Avenue Union City, New Jersey 07087. The successful applicant shall establish that it is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and has been for a period of not less than five years preceding appointment and meets all requirements as mandated under N.J.S.A. 2b:12-7.

The City reserves the right to conduct interviews with and seek further from any candidates and to waive any information and reject any and all proposals.
