Fire Safety

Posted April 07, 2022

The recent tragedies in Philadelphia, New York City and our own community prove the importance of having working smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and self-closing doors.

The NJ fire code requires that all units in multiple dwellings have these installed by the building owner.

If you do not have properly working devices or have any other fire safety issues contact the Union City Fire Prevention Bureau. Your call will remain anonymous.
