Anti-Rabies Clinic

Dear Pet owner,

We are taking this opportunity as a courtesy to remind you to take your dog to the City of Union City’s annual FREE anti-rabies clinic for dogs and cats. The clinics will be held on the following dates and locations:

Wednesday, May 3rd, 4 – 6 p.m. Firehouse 1600 New York Ave.
Wednesday, May 10th, 4 – 6 p.m. Firehouse (Corner of 43rd St. & Kennedy Blvd., 4300-4302 Kennedy Blvd.)

Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. The inoculations are free. Pet owners may purchase a license at the clinic for $12 for spayed or neutered dogs and $15 for non-spayed or non-neutered dogs. Please be advised as per City ordinance there is a $10.00 late fee if you are renewing your pet’s license after Jan 31st of this year.

The clinic is sponsored by the Union City Dept. of Health, Department of Public Affairs, and Mayor Brian P. Stack.

Applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office – City Hall, 2nd Floor

I am pleased to once again, invite you to attend another one of our public safety community meetings.

As the Director of Public Safety, I have made it my administration’s priority to ensure the continued safety of every resident and every neighborhood in Union City. These meetings have been successful in engaging community involvement in public safety initiatives.

Please join Police Chief Richard Molinari and I as we inform you of the latest developments surrounding public safety initiatives in your area. In addition, we will discuss crime prevention, as well as personal and property protection. This meeting should last approximately one hour.
