Reminder: Please Do Not Use Rock Salt!

Elected Officials - 12/11/2017 12:04:00 PM

Dear Residents,

We ask you to please remember to only use Calcium Chloride (White Pellets) on your sidewalks and not Rock Salt. Rock Salt does major damage to our sidewalks and kills our Trees and Plants.

When it snows or we have icy condition please help us keep the sidewalks in front of your home clean and try to shovel as soon as possible. Many kids use our sidewalks daily to go and come from school and need to provide them a safe sidewalk to travel on. Together we can continue keeping our city well maintained. It doesn’t matter if you own your home, rent an apartment or business we all share in the responsibility of maintaining and caring for our city.
